Our Department has the honor to welcome as visiting scientists two International Scholars, Prof. Athanasios Nenes and Prof. Vassily Hatzimanikatis, both from EPFL, Switzerland. The two visitors have joined our Department through a recently launched call for visiting scientists, whose scope is to strengthen and enhance the international character of our School and its collaboration with top Chemical Engineering Schools and Institutes outside Greece.
According to the new call, the visiting professors are highly qualified scholars affiliated with other universities or institutions, and as part of their connection with our Department will provide teaching and organize training schools, and also help with the training of young undergraduate and graduate students, following an agreed program of activities.
Visiting professors may also be invited based on specific agreements executed by the University.
