The Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Patras (DCE-UP) invites applications for the admission of twenty (20) graduate students in the Fall Semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. The DCE Graduate Program leads to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Chemical Engineering.
Students interested in the program should complete (in capital letters) the online application at the following address:

The complete application package should include:
- a completed and signed application form
- updated CV
- copies of all degrees awarded so far
- a copy of official transcripts
- a statement of objectives (reasons for wishing to do graduate work in DECUP)
- three recommendation-evaluation letters
- copy of passport

An interview at DCE-UP on Thursday, January 9 2020 is part of the admission process. Foreign applicants may also be interviewed over the phone or by online conference .
The PhD program is free (no fees or tuition are required). Since financial aid for international students is limited, applicants are urged to make every effort to secure funds from sources other than DCE-UP.
